We've been published!

Please join us in celebrating the publication of our work! Eight of us who traveled to Thailand and Cambodia in January, including our professor Dr. Pushpa Iyer, have been accepted as contributors for the Women's International Perspective online journal.

Dr. Iyer's article, entitled "Cambodia: Defining Peace in Order to Build Peace," is the WIP's featured article this month and may be found at: http://thewip.net/

The release of the seven students' work will continue over the coming month, with the first two articles available now for viewing at: http://thewip.net/talk/

    I represent Emerson Climate Technologies and am writing to you today about an industry award The Emerson Cup, held to recognize talent and reward excellence in the architecture industry as well as real estate developers, project managers, HVAC consultants, and even students starting this year!

    There are 5 award categories for various types of building/applications - New Buildings (Residential and Commercial), Special Applications (Data centers, clean rooms etc), Retail & Refrigeration (Supermarkets, cold rooms etc), Retrofit (Heritage, other functional buildings where A/C has been added/replaced) and for students of architecture and engineering– any ideas that can reduce the carbon footprint of your institute/school.

    The Cup invites entries from anyone who has designed, made, managed, works in or studies in any of the buildings that falls under the 5 categories.
